It is hard to believe that the Massachusetts Equine Affaire and Next Level Horsemanship’s Open House have already come and gone! Each event took what seemed to be endless hours of preparation and it feels like within a blink of an eye it is all over. Yet, for Next Level Horsemanship™ we know it is just the beginning of a lifetime journey. All I can say is, “Time flies when you are having fun!” Events like these are what make me 100% certain I am doing what I LOVE, and what I am passionate about, and it makes me hunger for the future opportunities that are waiting on the horizon.” Both of the NLH™ events were very successful because of everyone that participated, attended and took the time to find out more about NLH™.
At our training program, our job is to train your horse, so you can have endless Possibilities and opportunities to demonstrate your skills and your horse’s skills at shows and events that you might attend. Recently I’ve been working with “The Judge,” a Gypsy Vanner Stallion for several months at NLH™. As it turns out his owners were taking him to the Massachusetts Equine Affaire to participate in the breed demonstrations held there and I was happy to be a part of preparing him for that event. I was very disappointed to find out just before we left for the event in Massachusetts that Durango, my mustang, was unfortunately ill and could not go with us to participate in our demonstrations. When the Judge’s owners’ found out about that, they were nice enough to let me “borrow” The Judge for our trick training demonstration to show off his sitting skills! I was very grateful for that and in my eyes they really were the talented ones because they were able to present his tricks also in the Gypsy Vanner breed demonstrations, which was the primary reason for him being at the show. I am so fortunate to interact and meet new people everywhere we travel, and to keep good relationships with the horse owners whose horses have touched our lives too. At the end of the day it’s about doing what makes you happy, and the people and the horses that make the journey worthwhile!
